GeneralContext The sandstone cross shaft stands on a height in the graveyard at Toneel, near Boho. It is standing in a base that measures 90 x 88cm at ground level and 62 cm in height.

Both figures flank the tree which branches above their heads, the serpent is entwined about the tree, facing one of the figures, presumably Eve.
