Aine Hennessy

Áine Hennessy, BSc, PhD

Áine is a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences at University College Cork. She joined the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences in 2010 as a research assistant where she worked on the Nation Adult Nutrition Survey and the National Pre-school Nutrition Survey. During this time, Áine completed a PhD in Nutrition in the area of micronutrients and the role of fortified foods in the diets of young children and adults.

Áine is an active member of the Nutrition Society and has attended numerous nutrition conferences, both nationally and internationally.
