  - This article discusses the role of Forensic Science in adding elements of Science, Technology and Society to the teaching of chemistry in our schools. It discusses the effectiveness of workshop courses for teachers in imparting important laboratory skills in this area and empowering teachers to teach science in an everyday context using exemplar material on Forensic Science.
