Biography:
Lilian O'Brien completed a B.A. in English and Philosophy, and an M.A. in Philosophy at University College Cork. She then did a Ph.D. at Brown University, Providence, RI, USA. Having worked as Visiting Assistant Professor at Vassar College in New York and as an Assistant Professor at The College of William and Mary in Virginia, she returned to work as a Lecturer at the Philosophy Department at University College Cork in September of 2007.
