Biography:
Mr. Kelleher qualified as a RGN from The University School of Nursing, Bonn, Germany in 1996 and has since worked on various
intensive care units both in Germany and in Ireland. Appointed a Lectureship in the Catherine McAuley School of Nursing &
Midwifery UCC in 2003, he currently coordinates the postgraduate diploma in cardiac and intensive care nursing and teaches
across the undergraduate general nursing programme. Mr Kelleher is actively involved in research pertaining to critical care,
in particular substance use and substance users. As Chair of the PR committee Mr. Kelleher is heavily involved in student
recruitment activities and projects which enhance the promotion of nursing as a career.
