GeneralDescription The cross shaft has an incised roll moulding at the edges, and some panels are separated by frames of rope moulding. Like the Cross of the Scriptures it has a roof shaped cap.

West W3 Crucifixion. New Testament. Jesus is depicted slightly bent, robed to the knee, with Stephaton offering vinegar and Longinus with his spear. Two streams of blood and water are coming from Jesus' side.
