Biography:

Nick Hogan is a graduate of NUI Galway where he completed a masters in landscape archaeology after his BA degree. He was  appointed Technical Officer for the department in 2008 and is responsible for the support and training of staff and students in archaeological survey and computer appplications, in addition to overseeing the expansion of departmental resources in these areas. He has expertise in the surveying of archaeological sites and landscapes, including knowledge of a range of geophysical and land survey methods, and relevant I.T. applications.

Nick is a keen field archaeologist and excavator and his interests lie in the area of digital archaeology, particularly the application of modern survey and computer technologies in the study of past sites landscapes.
