This document is for web site owners in UCC. It describes
their responsibilities, the facilities available to them, and
provides guidelines for what to do. This is required reading for
all web site owners, their heads of
department/section/unit/project/club/society, and their
This document does NOT apply directly
to owners of sites managed with the
SiteManager CMS, for which a
separate set of guidelines exists, although some of the
recommendations here are repeated there. The exception is the
list of Core Skills.
Breach of these requirements will result in your web site
being disabled until corrective action is taken, an in cases of
persistent default the web site will be removed.
