GeneralContext This sandstone cross head is mounted in a base (not the original) at Duleek. Its measurements are 90 cm high x 1.05 m arms span x 20 cm thick. There is roll moulding at the edges.
GeneralDescription This is a general view of the west face of the cross head of the South Cross at Duleek, Co. Meath.
West At the centre of the cross head is the Crucifixion, with Stephaton and Longinus represented on either side of Jesus, above Jesus are two angels.
