An online survey is a web site containing a collection of questions with a variety of ways of gathering responses. The survey can be administered (notified individually to pre-selected subjects) or made open to all users or to specific groups based on site address or username/password. It can also be printed to administer manually.
If you have not designed a survey before, you must consult with your supervisor or take advice from an expert, as there are techniques which you can use to optimise the quality of the data you collect.
